Using the You Me at Six website we had initially produced as a starting point, we created a new and improved incarnation; the aim this time around was to grow the band’s visual identity in line with its developing sound.
We began by stripping back the content and upping the slick-factor using JavaScript animation. By utilising adaptive style sheets, we optimised the remaining content to fill the entire browser and maximise the visual impact of the assets.
We also made sure the site had the ability to work out what type of device it’s being viewed on, so that it could produce the appropriate style sheet and deliver a perfectly proportioned, easily visible version when accessed from a smart phone.
