Having worked with Florence and The Machine for a number of years it was great to see them come back so strongly with How Big How Blue How Beautiful in 2015. As with her previous releases Florence evolved her look for this album requiring a fresh approach to the website, moving away from the art deco styling of the previous site and bringing in a more ‘high-fashion’ minimalist approach.¬†Deceptively simple the site uses full page videos, large format images and a hidden navigation bar to keep the visual elements as paired back as possible.

Users who remain on the site for a longer period of time where able to notice that the simple white background slowly starts to rust, subtlety at first but more pronounced as time moves on. The site also integrates seamlessly with Universal Music Groups CRM system to serve up suggested products based the users typical usage.
